Routine's Desktop 0.9 version is now available publicly. We have not only focused on stability and performance but have also introduced new features that will make your life a lot easier to manage.
Simple user interface for creating events
Ability to add participants using their email addresses even if you don't have them in your Google Contacts list.
You can also enter an address and rely on the auto-completion to quickly select an existing physical location.
Define your default calendar
Your events will be created in your default calendar from now on when you drag and drop a task onto the calendar.
Editing events made simpler
Editing events when opened is now possible, where every edited property is highlighted in blue until you decide if the participants should be notified or not. This feature will be further improved in the next release with the ability to discard changes.
Delete tasks without ignoring/completing them
We’ve added the ability to delete tasks without the need to complete or ignore them first. You can use the submenu once the task is opened or use the shortcut CMD + Backspace.
Event notifications
Event notifications are now available, letting you know of upcoming events 10 minutes prior.
Merge your accounts
If you've created multiple accounts on Routine, you can now choose to merge them (Settings/Connect all your Google Accounts) - More info on Routine's Knowledge Base.
Thanks for reading. We hope you enjoy using Routine.
