Tasks, events, notes and recurrences

The console allows for creating many different Routine objects, most notably regular tasks and events. But one can also create recurring tasks and events by specifying a frequency along with optional starting and ending dates.

Console Recurrence

Postpone & schedule tasks

You can easily specify a due date for a task in the console. Likewise, you can tell Routine that you want a task to be postpone to a later week for reconsideration.

Console Postpone Schedule

Block time for important tasks

Because Routine bridges the gap between task and time management, it is possible to indicate that a specific task requires time for its completion. By specifying a date, time and duration, Routine will create an event associated with a task, also known as an allocation or time block.
